Air fry 6 large eggs @ 250 for 16 min. Allow to stand for 10 min. in air fryer. Remove and cool on your counter for another 10. Refrigerate. These peel easily most of the time.
I boil my eggs in the instapot with enough water to sink the eggs and pressure cook for 4 minutes. Remove and run cold water on them so you can peel them easily.
bring a pot of water to boil add eggs set timer for 13 minutes remove and run under cold water add ice to cool make sure water covers eggs by at least an inch do not cook on hard boil
I have now started to steam my eggs. In a shallow pan with a rack and lid. Keep the water below the rack and put a lid on it at all times or so and let it come to a boil, then put my eggs in and steam them for 8-10 minutes, that get them to soft to med boiled. They seem "fluffier" and creamer. Give it a try !!
I bring the water to a boil than place the eggs in, cook 15 minutes and than drain the hot water. Add cold water and ice until they have cooled than you will have a egg that the egg shell will just slide off with ease
Hard boiled eggs is a misnomer. Eggs do not boil. they coagulate . Hard cooked eggs which have been made in boiling water.
I have been using a pressure cooker for years. It works great and the shell comes off with no problem, every time. Bring the pressure up and time for 5 minutes. Turn off the heat and let the pressure drop for 5 minutes and release any pressure that remains. Put the eggs in an ice bath to stop cooking and you are done. They are perfect.
This is exactly the method that I also use. I won't hard boil eggs any other way.
This is what I do! Since I've done my eggs this way I will not do them any other way because they ARE always perfect!
Adding baking soda to the water helps in peeling...
