I found a method of steaming eggs and that has worked well for me. Eggs are much easier to peel and they come out nicely. No green around the yolk edges.
We use a steamer, about 12 minutes after water boils, steam them like you do vegetables. Peel easy and taste great! Enjoy!
Instant pot for 6 minutes with 1/2 cup water. Peel very easy !
I put my large or extra large eggs in my vegetable steamer for 20 minutes. They peel quite nicely. Luanne
I cover my eggs with cold water, set burner to high and boil for exactly 23 minutes. Take off heat, drain water, fill pan with cold water and add ice to cover. Eggs come out perfect every time. I also drain water, put lid back on and shake the pan. The shells crack and so, so easy to peel.
I let the eggs boil VERY GENTLY for five minutes, then remove them from the burner and let them sit in the hot water for twenty minutes. They don’t always cook completely the ÃÛÌÒÁµÈË way.
Exactly how I do my eggs
I have been using that method of removing from heat after boil.. it works great!! And best ever way to peel ! So easy!
I was using an egg cooker from Walmart (7 eggs at a time). It worked great! Then I discovered hard cooked eggs in the air fryer!! 16 to 18 minutes at 260. Then I usually let them cool off in the air fryer until cool enough to touch. Then the cold water ice bath before I peel them
Tap egg on counter and put a very slight crack in the shell, put in pot, cover with water, bring to a boil, simmer for 12-15 minutes. Pour out water, add one or two trays of ice cubes & add water to cover. Peel eggs when cooled off. Works for me every time even with fresh eggs, water seeps into crack & makes it peel clean every time.
