This is a great study you have started- I was just doin the same- looking through websites a few days ago and learned so much. Take a look at Genesis 1- the word used is God (I think it's Elohim, plural for the trinity, but on the 7th day it is singular- still researching this one). In chapter 2 verse 2, at this point the account has been told of all that has been created, 'the LORD God' is used. This is a really fun and edifying study. Personally, I think the names mentioned refer to the Father (God) or the 3-in-one (Elohim), and then starting in chapter 2:4, the account of what the Son (the LORD God, Yahweh) did during creation and after. Jesus was accidentally called the gardener after his resurrection- and elsewhere, he is Lord of the harvest...I'm still searching, and I guess that will never end, but I am leaning toward Yahweh being the name of the Son, whose earthly name in the New Testament is Jesus. He has so many names according to what he performs- I hope you find more and more insight. It's such a glorious journey! Shalom!
