Knowing absolute no Hebrew, I do know that the word you type as G-d (out of respect) is not the name of the one true God. In Psalms 68, we are told to "extol him...by his name JAH" which in Hebrew is the poetic abbreviated form of His name. And yes I do realize that the letter "J" did not come into existence until the sixteen hundreds and originally this would have been "YAH", still the abbreviated form of the Father's name. Yes, we do know the non-abbreviated form of the Name and I am glad because we are told to "call upon the name of the "LORD". If we did not know His name, how could we call upon Him? Shalom
