My Mom was raised on Mississippi river her Daddy was a commercial fisherman, my mother is 75 yrs old and her Dad told her if the wind is blowing out the East the fish bite the least, if it's blowing out of the West they bite the best! My family has always been fisherman, I'm 47 yrs old and I have fished all my life, n I have found when using chicken liver I use a tribble hook n wrap a piece of pantyhose around the liver n hook n it stays on longer!
