I live on a cattle farm in west/central MO, and I hear this Barn Owl on a fairly regular basis. I know there's at least one that nests in our old wooden barn (go figure) and was able to climb the ladder to the hayloft to see it before I got so crippled up. Amazing and beautiful creatures!
