Pretty simple but a few things... your math is way off. You start out with saying just 2 ingredients, then list 3 (oil, herbs and beeswax). Then you start listing all the different herbs that you put in your basic salve and suddenly the ingredient list is 7 and it's not so simple anymore. While the process is not super complicated, oversimplifying doesn't serve anyone. One needs to take into account the properties of the plants used and their effects on a person's skin and their interactions with each other in the same salve. You shouldn't use just any plants you have available. They have properties that are going to absorbed into your skin and at that point, it's too late to realize you've used something that reacts like poison ivy when it comes in contact with skin.
