I’m assuming these that I’ll mention below are seen elsewhere besides in the UK. Outside on a warm day you can see a very small bright red bug scurrying about. This is in fact a spider. If you catch a couple of these and put on your infected plant they’ll eat particularly spider mite (which isn’t a spider by the way) and whitefly. Of course when they’ve gone the spiders will leave too.
