Very interesting article. I've often wondered what to do especially with tomato suckers. One neighbor says to remove them. Read an article stating the suckers will increase production. I've said to heck with it and clipped them off. Have so much tomato plant, don't need more. Besides proper fertilization encourages production. But I do prune the plant when it gets unruly and too thick. Tomatoes grow fast, turn your back and have to prune again. My main trouble is with the Hornworm, removed some 43 one summer. OFA"s articles gave good info on them also. They appeared like the Ticks, out of the blue. Thanks
