I start many seedlings for my home gardens both vegetable and flower and I try to be eco friendly so I sterilize and reuse my plastic pots for many years. I haven't had a lot of success with my DIY pots. Newspaper falls apart, egg cartons too small and I worry about dyes in toilet paper rolls. I have used peat pots but find they are still in my garden the next year and can be expensive for the quantity I need vs. reusing my plastic pots. I would be interested to know how eco friendly the manufacturing of some of these eco friendly pots are?
