There is an app called Stellarium that let you go back and forth in time… you can literally look at any single night in the sky from years backwards or forward. You could start with about the age you think you are and play with it until you see what you saw. You can adjust features so that you have the names of the stars and constellations etc. Great app and also a full version website. Actually the full version website might be better for this because the screen would be bigger. Good luck!
