I have moved to a home where young hydrangeas were planted and bloomed beautifully. Three years ago, landscapers cut them to the ground. Now I get leafy bushes but no flowers. The canes seem to die during the winter rather than produce new growth for buds. This is happening for the third year now. Can anything be done to revive these plants so that they again produce flowers?
