Mistletoe also grows in juniper trees. We have lots of wild junipers on our property here in the high desert of Southern California. A week before Christmas, I cut a nice full sprig of Mistletoe (with berries) and tie it over the front steps with a red ribbon. Interestingly, I have also found bunches of Mistletoe without berries.
