I used to have horrible hay-fever. Someone told me to eat honey containing the offending allergen, be it goldenrod, clover, buckwheat...etc. I went to my local apiary and purchased the honey straws (little tubes of honey) in the flavor that caused the problems. In my case it was the goldenrod. I slowly built up an immunity and now I rarely sneeze (I wish they made cat honey...lol).
