I have three yellow jacket nests within 20 feet of each other at the front of my house. I put out a bowl of apple juice with two drops of dawn dish soap to break the surface tension. I added a 2nd bowl after a couple days because it was working so good. It’s been about two weeks. After counting another 45 tonight. My new total is 1505. It works extremely well! Also caught about a dozen bald faced hornets and a half dozen European hornets. Which are huge compared to a yellow jacket. I’ve also heard you can add a little borax to the juice. The ones that don’t fall in will take it back to the nest to share. And the nest will inevitably die because borax is poisonous to insects. This has been a great help to me. I hope it can help you as well.
