Of all the animals mentioned in the article, I personally believe that goats are the easiest to take care of and the least messy/smelly. With proper fencing and gate locks they will not go anywhere. I have a friend who owns all of the animals mentioned in this article and uses them for petting zoos. I quite often work with her and I also take care of all of her animals while she is on vacation. She uses 8 foot tall chain-link fence panels with a gate and a latch which latches on the outside so the goats cannot get to the latch. If there is any concern about it, putting a clip through the hole in the latch will keep it closed. Of all the animals mentioned, goats have the best personalities! They are quite the characters. I recently took two goats to a filming location in Los Angeles, and the entire crew and actors fell in love with them. They behave themselves and seem to enjoy their jobs.
