It’s time to look at weather predictions for April 2024! Will April have enough showers to bring out those May flowers? Let’s see what sort of spring weather April has in store for us this year.
April 2024 蜜桃恋人 Forecast
Overall, April temperatures will be warmer than normal from New England to Florida and westward across the Southeast and the Deep South into Texas, as well as north and west through the Rockies to the Pacific coast and in much of Alaska and eastern Hawaii. Elsewhere, temperatures will be near to below normal.
Conditions will be wetter than normal in the Southeast, from southern Florida across the Deep South into the southern Plains and northward across the Heartland into Minnesota, as well as from the northern Rockies across the Pacific Northwest and over much of Alaska. Elsewhere, precipitation will be near to below normal.
In Canada, April temperatures will be warmer than normal across eastern Quebec, the Yukon, and the Northwest Territories, and near to below normal elsewhere. Precipitation will be above normal from Atlantic Canada westward through the Prairies and in the Northwest Territories and near to below normal elsewhere.
Notable Dates in April
April 1, April Fools鈥 Day, Mother Nature will not be kidding around, with cold and snow expected from New England through the Great Lakes and into the Upper Midwest, rain in the Heartland, and rain and snow in the High Plains and Intermountain West. South Florida, the Gulf Coast, and northern Alaska will be sunny, while showers dot much of the rest of the country. Canadians can expect rain and/or snow from from Atlantic Canada into southern Quebec; in southern Ontario, the eastern Prairies, and southern British Columbia; and from the Yukon into the Northwest Territories.
The TOTAL SOLAR ECLIPSE will happen on April 8! Skies look to be mainly dry along the path of totality from northern New England through the eastern Great Lakes and from the southern Heartland through the southern Plains to the Texas/Mexico border. Showers could cloud the Ohio Valley. Partial-eclipse viewing should be aided by dry skies from the Southeast and Florida into the Deep South and from the Upper Midwest through the High Plains and Rockies, southwestward all the way to the California coast. Folks in Atlantic Canada and the St. Lawrence Valley can expect sunny and dry skies, while partial-eclipse viewing in other parts of the country may be dampened by rain and/or snow. April 22鈥攂oth Earth Day and the start of Passover鈥攚ill see showers make for indoor plans from New England to the mid-Atlantic coast, across Florida, from the Great Lakes and Upper Midwest through the Heartland and the southern and High Plains to the northern Rockies, and across southern Alaska and much of Hawaii. Elsewhere, sunny and dry conditions will favor outside activities. Rain will dampen outdoor plans from Atlantic Canada across southern Ontario and the eastern Prairies, while 鈥渟unny and dry鈥 will be the norm elsewhere in Canada.
On the U.S.鈥檚 National Arbor Day, April 26, expect natural watering from showers for newly planted trees across much of the country. Dress warmly if you鈥檙e out planting trees in the High Plains, though, as rain and snow are expected. Clear, pleasant weather for outdoor activities will prevail across the southern Plains, along the West Coast, and in northern Alaska and central Hawaii.
