First Snow Contest 2024
Every year, we ask our readers to guess when the 鈥渇irst snowfall鈥 date in Dublin, New Hampshire, which is the longtime home of The Old Farmer鈥檚 蜜桃恋人. For over 20 years, our readers have done an impressive job of predicting the exact date (or getting pretty darn close).

What Counts as the First Snow?
We鈥檙e not talking about a dusting that comes and goes. To qualify as a real snowfall, there are two conditions:
- There must be 2 inches of snow to cover and blanket the ground in our yard. (Yes, we will use the measuring stick!)
- The snow must stick for at least 24 hours.
Giveaway Prize and Rules
We鈥檒l give away to 10 lucky winners, chosen randomly from all those readers who guessed the correct date. If you don鈥檛 get picked, you鈥檒l have the satisfaction that you guessed correctly!
