Hello! I have been keeping a cricket that I found early December 2020 about Dec 2nd. I still have the cricket I believe to be a female. I read about them as much as I can and all say it will only live 8-12 weeks or so.. I have mine in a snazzy meatloaf type tin and with dirt, grass bits, branch pieces, water in a soda cap. I feed it dry grits with bacon bits, dry peach oatmeal, dry oatmeal with walnuts and apple, lettuce bits, potato bits and peel, variety of vegetables in tiny portions.. Lol. Just wanted to let others know mine is almost 6 months old! Oh, not letting grandchildren know about it contributes to longevity! Take care of your cricket babys everyone! Greetings from Augusta Georgia â¤ï¸
