I am inspired by this.. Looking to plant clover to rehab some hilly dry areas on the grass of a country property.. So it is not exactly lawn, somewhere between lawn and meadow. The area and over our septic tank I did white clover and it has done very well. The problem is that it is difficult for me to water the areas as they are far apart and watering will drain the well. If I rely on rain only is there a chance of success? ie will the seeds wait until the next rain if I try to time it for a few rainy days?
