I ordered red Hyacinth bulbs and expect to receive these next week. I want to force them so I can use them for my Xmas holiday tablescape.
Couple of questions: I understand from your website that I need to keep them cold for 10 weeks. I live in Los Angeles and the only place that is truly cold is the refrigerator. But I'm afraid that will kill them! What should I do?
Next, when should I plant them to 'force' them to be ready for Xmas? I am going to plant them in soil, not water so am unsure on the timing especially if I have to keep them cold for 10 weeks. I'll miss my window...
Finally, after they grow, can I transplant them into a different pot and still have them survive indoors?
