Nature didn't 'intend' time! Time and schedules are human constructs, we invented them (in order for our commerce, business and activities to run). Nature's got nothing to do with it!

The sun rises and sets when it does. What we call that 'time' and how we schedule ourselves around it is our own doing!

Also --- people have different natural rhythms. Some people are night owls, some prefer morning hours. We all get energy at different times. So what works for one, might not work for everyone else!

It's all an abritrary construct. We could start our working days at 4 am if we wanted. We could have 'late night' tv shows at 8pm. We could collectively eat 'dinner' at 3 in the afternoon ----

I set my own hours and don't get up early. I'm still affected by 'dst' and 'st' because of business opening hours.

It's all what we agree upon collectively.

Elementary school kids in my area get home at 4 30 in the afternoon. Sunset is 20 minutes later on 'standard time' ---- that's sad. Kids around here like to play outside, but in the winter months, they don't really get the chance. We could start the school day an hour earlier in the winter. We could change all business hours to start an hour earier in winter, run from 7 - 4 in winter as opposed to 8 - 5.

It's all made-up by us.

None of it is natural ---- unless you live off-grid and aren't affected by communal schedules!

I guess 100s of years ago people just agreed to meet at vague times, like "high noon" or "sunrise" --- since there was no other way to know what "time" it was!
