In TN we had 15 feeders on our wrap-around porch. They would sit on the bill of my cap while refilling their feeders, and I had to wear glasses so they wouldn't peck my eyes. (They seem to like the color blue as well as red). They'd get upset when it was time to take feeders down for a good wash, but soon got happy when we re-hung them. We didn't add food color to their 'nectar'. (While moving from TN to AR, we lost the box of feeders off our truck. Never replaced all of them.)
