It's winter "almost" and it's times like this just when the logs are burning and the sofa seat is full of myself and the old rescue dog I saved 12 years ago. Both of us are getting older day by day and the world's someplace outside of our old farm house, and winters knocking on the door. My thoughts are: If I ever did anything right, it was to walk into that animal rescue centre and give this little shy dog a second chance.
