Planting, Growing, and Harvesting Grapes

Thank you, but to be clear, the ground underneath the entire vine should be cleared of grass and weeds? And how much clear area should there be around the main trunk/base?
Clear the ground around the trunk of the vine—where it comes out of the ground—of weeds and grass. We would suggest about a 3-foot circumference.
Hello, I wanted to grow grapes, but wasn't sure if it was possible where I live in youngstown Ohio!
Any suggestions!?
Sure! You can grow grapes in your home garden in Ohio. You are in USDA Plant Hardiness Zone 6a. We’d suggest contacting a local nursery or your county’s Cooperative Extension for advice on varieties best for your area and their care. To start, you might be interested in:

I planted two grape vines to grow up two different legs of a pergola o e year ago. They are about 4 ft high. The pergola is about 7 foot high. Do I cut off all side shoots every year until the vines reach the top of the pergola? Thank you for your advice.
How lovely. Pergolas are a great idea for grapes. You are in the training stage. To train the grape vine to reach the top of the pergola, you want to focus on one training shoot so that your vine reaches the pergola as soon as possible. Yes, remove all other growth. By the third summer, your vine should reach the top. Only after that will you allow the vine to fan out.
Hi
Can any one suggest me what type of grapes for vine I could grow at a hight of 1200 meter above sea level? The place does have 8 to 10 hrs sun light during summer with temperatures 20 to 30° throughout summer and plenty of fresh mineral water coming out of mountains if needed but winter snows in meters
I appreciate any help.
We can suggest these varieties: Beta, Canadice, Edelweiss, Elvira, Minnesota 78, St Croix, Swenson Red, Valiant, Vanessa, and Worden. We would also recommend that you contact the cooperative extension service nearest you; click here http://www.almanac.com/content/cooperative-extension-services , find your state, and contact the appropriate service. You might also contact a service in a high-alt area that may not be your own (Idaho, for ex.) and see what they recommend.
I live between Williamsburg and Richmond, Virginia. What are some of the best table grapes I can grow? I would like to grow a red, white, and blue grape. Thanks
I started two new grape vines (concord),I have fertilized and composted the first year only organic fertilizer and it is the first year do I need to pull up and start over or be patient and wait and see?
